The 10th Annual Cookie Run for the Girl Guides of Canada features a 1.5K kid’s run, and 5K and 10K races. After working up an appetite on the race course, you can indulge in a few delicious Girl Guide cookies.

Location / Start Times

Location: To be determined

Start Times: 10K/5K - 10:00 a.m. 1.5K - 11:15 a.m.

* Please note that there is NO race day registration *

Course Information

Course: 5 km loop on the National Research Council, Montreal Road Campus. Limited traffic, one hill, all kilometres marked.

Directions: Exit Regional Road 174 at Blair, proceed north on Blair to Ogilvie Road, then west on Ogilvie to Bathgate Drive, north on Bathgate to Matheson.

Race Kit Pickup

Friday, November 1^st– Running Room – 1518 Merivale Road, Ottawa 5:30-7:30 p.m.

Race Day – Location will be confirmed – Check “Cookie Run” race information at www.runottawaclub.com

Awards

Merchandise or gift card prizes for first overall, male and female in each event (overall winners do not receive an age category award)

The first 3 runners in the following categories receive Girl Guide Cookies

10K – 19 & under, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+

5K – 14 & under, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70-79, 80 years +

5 & 10K races - Entries received by October 16,^,2013:

Run Ottawa members $20;

nonmembers $25;

October 17 to November 1^st :

Run Ottawa Club members $25;

nonmembers $30

All youth 19 and under - $10 at all times

1.5K Kids Run (12 years and under) - $5 at all times

All registration fees include HST

T shirts, $10 each must be ordered by October 17^th

Registration fees are not refundable.
